A broken link or dead link is a link on a web page that no longer works. The app will save you loads of resources by helping you scan the app, then list all the links that you should fix or remove.
Just go to the URLs Control, choose Broken Link, and click on the Scan button.
The Search Pie app helps you check the quality of all existing connections on your website. Every broken or dead link will be listed below after a few seconds of scanning.
You can select all the 404-error links and hit the button Bulk Redirect to redirect them to another link.
Moreover, by enabling Auto-scan and Auto-fix button, all the broken links will be auto-detected and fixed daily.
To check how to have your broken links fixed, please navigate to the bottom of the page to see the report. It shows you when your broken link has been detected and fixed. Also, it allows you to redirect to another link on your site by clicking Edit.
Normally, it will take about 5 - 10 minutes. However, with a large-sized website, it might take up to 30 - 45 minutes. While waiting, you can continue using other features or even exit the app. Then, come back later to see the result. Besides, just enable the Auto Scan and Fix button to let the app auto-clean all the broken links daily. You don't have to worry about this issue any longer.
